A GM TPS that rotates the same direction as the Carrera TB?

The GM TPS I bought turns the wrong direction. I hate to cut open the other side to make it work.

Seeing if anyone knows of a GM one since I already wired in the GM connector into the harness.

A TPS for 3.2 Carrera Intake

This photo is from the SDS website. I ordered one -- CCW rotation looking at the shaft in the throttle housing -- and installed it per the second picture. The phenolic block is 3/8" thick to provide the necessary standoff and was machined on a table saw.

Search the 911 forum for user Jim2 -- he did the same thing in aluminum.

When looking at the shaft side, mine turns clockwise.

The GM one turns counter and unfortunately, I already wired the GM connector.

On some engine management systems you can set the TPS value as an increasing or decreasing value... i.e. 0-5 volt or 5-0 volt...

Take a look in the software for the ECU whether you can do this.

Yeah, understood, but the GM TPS I bought turns CCW when looking from the shaft side which opposite the Carrera - meaning, it won't work unless I cut open the other side of the TPS so it'll work.

Just wondering if anyone knew of a GM TPS that turned with the Carrera TB shaft. I believe the Audi and BMW ones turn the right way??
