While waiting for the new one, I think I'd be tempted to try some sealant on those spots and see if there is any difference...

I did try and use a bicylce puncture patch with some cement but when i started the engine again it was popping and spluttering and when i sprayed some carb cleaner on it the engine PRM picked up
