An attempt to stop small dashboard cracks from growing
Little cracks in the dash turn into big cracks, so I wanted to see if I could arrest the growth of tiny cracks before they got too big.
This is what I faced: ![]() Here are the tools I used. A small hypodermic syringe (for insulin - for my [late] cat !!), and some Krazy glue. ![]() Here was my method. The glue does not stick to the syringe, but it can dry quickly in the end of the needle, so I had to work fast and carefully. ![]() With care and some luck the injected glue is not visible. My cracks are still not large and I want them to stay that way. I don't know if this idea will work longterm, but I'd rather attempt something at this stage of the game before I have to go to the dramatically larger task of a new dash cover, or similar. I'll post again if I notice any change in the cracks after this exercise.

The third picture was posed after I injected the glue.
