How do I tell what colour my 1983 Porsche 930 is painted in? It's a dark metallic blue if that helps, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find a paint code or something like that.

There should be a tag/decal on the driver's door jamb. Also, check under the hood on the passenger's side for a metal tag with the options.

....take a look under the hood on the left hand side...there should be a white paper sticker with the paint code on.



Also, there's another sticker on the the passenger side fender wall in the trunk with the same detail on it.....

Once you find the code use this website to find the name. Enter 1983 and I bet it's Glasurit line 55.
