Turbo script rear seat backrest - get where?

Has anyone ever tried to replace the carpet section on the rear seat backrest? I'm looking for the carpet section with the "turbo" script. Anyone got any source for this carpet section?

Most of the ones you see are not attached they are just like floor mats that lay on top when the seat is laying down.

Automotion has them. Made by Lloyd. Part Number P914981

Wrong.
That is not what he is referring to.

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed? No need to be rude and add no suggestion to the poster.

Back to the original question:

If what you're looking for is the piece that attaches to back of the seats: Usually that carpet comes included in a full carpet set. When I redid the interior in the Targa I used WorldUPH.com for my carpet set. It was very nice and from their website, it looks like they are willing to do pieces if you don't want the whole set. I would call and ask them if they can do it for you. To install you will need to remove the back deck but (if I remember correctly) the carpet just glues on the back. It is a pretty easy job.

You owned a 87 930?
Take a look at the left rear flip-down seat in your turbo.
He is trying to find a seat-back carpet with the "Turbo" script shaved into the pile.
OP - try Byron (racerbvd) - he has a couple of full turbo sets, one in blue and one in burgundy - I think

(and I'm the one being rude? )

Yes, I currently own a 930 and a 911. That being said I cannot flip the back seat because I have removed all of the back seat and the passenger seat. It is pretty sparse.

To end all the confusion.....(sorry if my original post wasn't clear)

I'm going to be redoing my floor carpeting, so why not do the rear seat backs for consistency?

no, it's not advertising "turbo" that is important. Keeping the interior original looking is.

I would definitely try WorldUPH. Call them and ask if they can script it. My 911's carpet kit is beautiful from them.

Thanks Stephanie. I'll search for them on the net and let everyone know. I'll also be contacting Lloyd's to see if they can offer anything.

I think this whole problem has to do with the outrageous royalties companies have pay to Porsche to use that font with turbo on any merchandise.

I'm pretty sure you could buy a regular carpet set, take it to any sports clothing shop/trophy clothing shop etc. and they could embroider it for you. Especially if you have an original for them to take a picture of and convert for their computer image software.
Just an idea.

The tea-tray, turbo badge and the widebody probably make "stealth" a bit of a lost cause - and if observers aren't really paying attention, it probably all comes into focus for them when the wastegate opens or the flameballs appear....

Like the OP says, it's one of those things you worry about when the car is original. Otherwise the cotton-bud police will get you - except they would be too busy shrieking in horror at my car

Just an idea.
The seat-back carpet w/turbo script appears not to be embroidered, but shaved. the pile is cut down to the nap and then dyed.

Update;
Got an email reply from WorldUPH.......
"The carpet kit does include that piece behind the rear seats, but unfortunately it will not have ‘turbo’ embroidered on it. "

Lloyd's will probably come up a as negative as well. Their mats are embroidered not clipped.
Guess it's time to take a piece of material to an automotive upholstery shop and see if they can mimic the technique.

Thanks everyone.
