First thing is to check for spark. If you have a consistent, strong spark, your problem is fuel related.

When the Permatune in my car started to go away, the car got much harder to start from cold.

Luc,

You've been given simple test to determine if the FA is leaking or not in your other post. Test it and confirm it is not the culprit for your low residual fuel pressure (??). Troubleshooting is a process of elimination. Once the FA is tested and confirmed good, focus your search to other possible culprit/s. Have you checked your residual fuel pressure?

What do you mean by 'ignition control unit'? Be more specific and keep us posted.

Tony

you have no spark and the car will not run.

if tony has given you advise about this in another thread, do what he says.

I believe this was explained in the "MSD exposed" thread on why this happens.
