Flapper box cables question

About done with my engine rebuild and want to restore my flapper boxes because they seem easy to get to right now.Anyway I got them loose but the cable ends are badly fused to the boxes, checked our host for replacements and seems there are no twin cable system replacement cables. If that is true can I switch to a single cable system?
Or am I completely delusional and all the early flapper cable systems are the same?
Thanks,
Sam

I think this is the one you need.

Pelican Parts - Product Information: 901-424-701-05-M100

Check pdf page 315 (below) to get the diagram and part numbers. Then load part number into Pelican's search engine

Sam,

You should find that it's just a single cable bent through an eye in the lever, then going back through tubes in the tunnel to each box. It'll be a bit of a pain to feed through, but pulling up the whole emergency brake console it should be doable.

There are a couple different cables. If you have one lever, you need the single cable that is bent in half (in a loop, really) in the middle, so one end goes through each tube.
