What's next , Excellence Magazine !!

I'm proud to say that Excellence is coming out to photograph my car on May 12th and do a story on it, I'm very excited, that's the ultimate complement that I can get for all the years of hard work and money spent. and bragging rights, thanks guy for your support and help, very cool

Yes I have lots of pic's , The started life as a 1976 911S , I've owned it for 22 years, I have thread on the whole story and all the pic's , search transformation of 1976 911S to 993 911GT, but here's what it looked like before.

I have sent in at least 2 requests for a free Excellance mag so I can start a subscription since Christmas now and have received nothing from them. I guess they don't want my business. Right now their customer service/subscription department gets an F from me. Good luck with the pictures and article.

Their customer service is lame- I've got a complete set-all 201 issues- (for sale btw) & got into a disagreement over missing an issue when my subscription renewed thru Amazon.I ended up having to pay $10 for one "Back issue" as opposed to $25 for a year's subscription- left a bad taste for doing business with them but I had to do it to keep the collection complete.

Hacks! I wouldn't let them touch my car or buy their mag anymore. Customer service is EVERYTHING in my book. I subscribe to a UK mag now that is much better and even has an e-zine service at a HUGE discount!

Congrats on getting in Ex! I've subscribed for many years with no problems, though I have little exp to their cust svc, just keep renewing the normal way. I love the high quality they put out. Looks like you have put a lot of work into that 76! It looks great. My first was a 76 S, enjoyed it for almost 10 years in close to original condition (updated to 87 3.2 motor, big improvement). Looking forward to reading about it.

I missed an Excellence issue a fews years back and they promptly sent me another copy. Excellence, Total 911 and Classic Porsche are all fine mags.

It's good to hear that they venture out of CA, I didn't think they featured any cars outside the left coast. A few years ago I flew out to visit SSI and looked up Excellence, small place but pretty neat to actually see it. I also have every issue, but not on purpose I'm just a pack rat!
