A/C relay

Guys,
Can you tell me where the A/C relay is located on a 82 SC?

Inside the smugglers box on the passenger side wall right below the lip.

There may be one there but there is also one above the fuse box....position #1 closest to the front of the car.

Tim,

In all 911's up through 89 with factory air, the AC relay is
in the smuggler's box, the "other" relay in the fuse panel is for the
front condenser blower motor.

If you replace the relay in the smugglers box be sure you get a
25 amp, not a 15 amp.

And, look at the wire harness for your front condenser blower motor
(by battery). There should be a 7.5 amp inline fuse; it was added later; sometimes.
If you don't have one get one.

Check AC fuse on fuse panel; inspect wires for burn or brittles and
rotate fuse to help remove oxide at contacts.
