Model Cars - Why Not Model Engines?

I have some model cars in my office. A 959, '73 RS, Carrera Turbo, 996, Boxster and a Viper (gift). I wish I had a little, reasonably accurate model of a 911 engine in my office. Even if it were just the case, cylinders, heads and cam and chain housings. Ideal would be a 959 unit. Whaddya think?

Too bad it's out of production: http://www.scaleautoworks.com/marushinPorsche.html

Or you could go for the 356 engine, only ONE left! http://www.scaleautoworks.com/porsche356engine.html

Just make your own, like that crazy guy did with his hand made miniature Ferrari.

Joking aside, I was at a car show once and some model engine guys were there. They had running minature versions of a few different engines, including a old Flathead Ford (I think) with external pushrods, a Harley-Davidson bike engine, and a Hemi V8. All engines ran, and were no bigger than 4 or 5 inches long.

Pretty neat.
