915 reverse light switch location
I have my 84 911 up in the air on stands and am looking underneath for the reverse light switch. Bentley says its at the "transmission end" and I can't spot it. Does anyone have a picture they can post of the general area with the rls indicated? Is it behind/above the rear axle?
Thanks, Tim |

Less brakes, more gas!

Its the white thing at the bottom of Bill's pic.
FYI: I had no reverse lights once... the switch was fine, but the roll pin in the shift rod of the transmission had been inserted incorrectly/moved/bumped and was no longer triggering the switch. Have to remove the nose cone to fix it. Also, the little penile shaped connections that go into that switch are NLA. Why in the universe Porsche chose to make those connectors unique is beyond comprehension.
