Power windows work intermittently. Start car both driver and passenger window works. Drive a bit switches do nothing. Shut car off or open door and close windows may work.

I'd start with the switches themselves. My SC had similar problems and I just replaced the switches and all was good. Just be careful to note the position of each connector.. not alot of slack in the wires, and you don't want to be trying to read the numbers on the back of the switch and then connecting the right wire to the right terminal.

Window switches.
If you can, swap out the P/W relay.
Also, clean the door switches. Here's a little help..... ![]() ![]() ![]()

Good advice above - start with the simple and replace the fuse and swap the relay. If that dosen't work, replace the switches.
In my case, the passenger window stopped working from both driver and passenger side switches. I replaced just the passenger door switch and the window started working from both sides. |
