JWest Engineering Steering Eccentric Adapter and RSR style Dead Pedal install

Installed the JWest Momo steering wheel adapter and the RSR style dead pedal this weekend. I'm 6 foot and 220lbs, the eccentric spacer makes a BIG difference.
Car feels like there is actually more room inside. I like the position of the wheel better also, little bit of a tilt. The picture shows it as best as I could show.
The Dead pedal also a really great idea. Car should have come from the factory
with this !

I've got one of those steering wheel adapters installed too (I'm 6' 2") and it was a huge improvement. It really helps with small diameter steering wheels, easier to see the gauges.

Does the West adapter move the wheel out as well as tilting it up?
If so, approximately how far out does it move the wheel from stock?

The adapter moves the wheel out (towards the driver) about 0.5" and shifts the center position of the wheel up by about the same distance. 0.5" doesn't seem like a lot but it made a big difference for me, much easier to swing my legs in and out of the car and just feels better having the wheel a little closer.

The key as a tall person(6'5") is layering another 3" spacer on top of the JWest spacer.

I have that same set-up, with the offset steering wheel spacer. I like where it positions the wheel out away from the dash, but am not crazy about the offset. I'm not that tall [5'7"] and don't gain much from the gauge view. I'm not entirely comfortable with the up-hill, peak, down-hill action of the wheel while steering, especially while one hand is shifting. Does anyone know of an equivalent spacer without the offset?

6' 4" and it helps me a good bit, like Mike says, seems a small difference but feels larger. Scott

I used the JWest offset adapter with a Momo Retro wheel and it now fits me perfectly!
Makes a huge difference in the driving comfort of the car for me.

Any chance you can snap a pic of your setup. I'm curious to see how it looks with 3.5" inches out further than stock. 6'5" here as well.

I seem to remember seeing a video of the eccentric adapter in use one time. Doesn't it cause the steering wheel to make an eccentric arc through the turn? If so is it hard to get used to?

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

Yes, just as most (maybe all?) post '74 Porsche factory wheels. The amount of offset used in our adapter was as-measured from an '85 911 original wheel.

Thanks for your interest!

Lots of spacers that aren't eccentric. See ltbmotorsports, ebay, etc.

+1 on the ltb motorsports spacers. I'm 6'6" and added an LTB Motorsports 1" spacer to my hub and MOMO Prototipo. It helps tremendously with ingress and egress. This is in addition to the 1/2" spacer that I reused from the old MOMO Corsa that came with the car. Consequently, the screws that came with my spacer were not long enough. So I contacted LTB and they sent me the longer screws that come with their 2" spacer. For free! Good place and great customer support.
