83 911 Production Cab #10

Rear Fuse/Relay Panel Delete

Anybody done that?

I got a 83 Cab with no defrost, no wiper and the heating is backdated so the only thing left is the Test Port but since I'm going PMO EFI + TECgt soon, I don't think any of it and would like to remove it.

you will likely need the battery and switched power for your ignition and fuel management. wont you?
I deleted all the relays but added an modern fuse block in its place with 4 battery and 4 switched to power all this stuff. your wideband 02 will need both battery and switched power as well.

Yes, I'll need switch and unswitch 12 V. I don't have the kit yet but I think the TECgt has their fuse on board.

I know the rear blower was on a switched circuit so I will take that one from there. I used the test port to do my idling adjust but wont need it next year

Do you have pic a bit zoom out?

Thanks Brad

With the TEC, the Coil and distributor are gone (and all the electronic go between the PMO stacks so I'm hoping that the only thing left in that quarter will be the fuel filter which may be switch to a glass type filter.

I'll definitely post before and after pick in the new year.
