Analog vs Digital

My old analog dwell meter went missing so I need to replace it.

I have heard good and bad things regarding testing the dwell with the digital vs analog.

I would like to get some opinions please

Thank you in advance for your time and reply

I'm going to say points based on his gap setting thread for his '76???
I have only used analog so I couldn't judge.
