Thumbs up I found 21 cents

I finally put the short shifter in the 87 930, what a difference and the topper was finding the cash.

Also found some nickles and dimes under the shifter boot. But what's even more valuable is that after cleaning out the front fenders, I have a significant amount of American soil in my garage ;-)

I'm jealous. I found a peach pit under my seat, and a pen.

I was working on a jammed seat in a 930 once. Come to find out it was a loaded clip
for a 1911 45. I called the owner he said: At least it was loaded there's nothing worse then an empty clip. Which I suppose can be true

I'm $1.45 ahead in loose change in mine; apparently the PO was a man of means, as I also found a flap gauge for a Cessna under the front seat. Anybody need one?

Lint, leaves, small pebbles, crumbs, grit, somehow it all keeps materializing in mine.

I found in the trunk and under the seats in mine one Timex digital watch, broken. One unused prophylactic. One soiled. One black suit jacket. One pair of black suit pants. One hat, black. One pair of sunglasses. Twenty three dollars and seven cents.

Lucky. All I found was a shifter coupler bushing that a PO had somehow jammed in place.

My car had been sitting in my uncles garage for 24+ years. When I started the restoration, the steering wheel was locked and my uncle had, long ago lost the keys. It was a ***** to winch the car onto the trailer. While taking the car apart, i found a black lump stuck up under the right front wheel well. After removing the lump and cleaning it up, I found the original red valet key inside the black electrical tape. I was pretty happy.

Sounds like the PO of McLovin's car was one of the Blues Brothers.

That reminds of me this movie: Dr. Strangelove: Check List - YouTube

Survival kit contents check. In them you'll find:

- Two boxes of ammunition
- Four days' concentrated emergency rations
- One drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine,
vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills
- One miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible
- One hundred dollars in rubles
