thanks for all the great feedback guys. current ones that are on my mind include throwing away the a/c (but on my double black coupe i'm not entirely certain), rear seat backs coming off (roll bar blocks them anyway), aj usa dead pedal, shifter bushings for my g-50 w/ some mobil 1. i also need to address my door hinges which are not stopping the door at the 2/3s open position anymore. this thread also got me thinking about the pedal cluster; mine feels good, but it seems like something that you would appreciate when you refurbished it.
if ya got more, i'm all ears. db

Best no or low cost things I've done so far:
10. Trying to buy used instead of new parts. 9. Not caring too much about my oil leaks. 8. Vacuuming. 7. Putting on my front license plate. No more worries with cops. 6. Getting my parking brake to work. 5. Upgrading to 1980 leather seats for my 1973. 4. Going to one battery instead of two. 3. Re-jetting my Webers 2. Rubbing baseball glove conditioner into my seats (same oil as the expensive car conditioner). Went from cardboard to butter. 1. Joining this site and finding other Porsche owners Inexpensive things I want to do: 1. install dead pedal 2. shorten shift kit and bushings 3. find Momo knob 4. front trunk brace 5. clean dried battery acid out of my truck! 6. replace tranny fluid 7. do an oil change 8. shine up my fan 9. clean underneath 10. go after oil leaks What about everybody else? I love this thread.

Stan, haven't had a problem with bump steer at all. I have had to readjust it about a million times because I have 18" wheels, and I was a having a problem with rubbing. The lowest I can go is 25" up front, which is fine because it looks great.
