Heater control fit question

I need a replacement heater control plastic face for my 79 911.
Will one from a 70 911 fit?
Tks

Heater Controls.

I checked the PET for you, but could not come up with a P/N.

I think there are some cosmetic differences and there are a couple different versions of the controls, some with 3 levers and some with 4. Aside from that, I think they should interchange. I've put '73 controls in a '77 before.

I'd have to do a little more research to be certain.

The controls with two levers on the top row were for cars without A/C, and (I think) was introduced with the center dash vent (1977), but maybe earlier - don't recall right now. I have a 4-lever control in a box if you need any pictures.

the face is part of the whole assembly. it doesn't come off separately.

Garage
Is yours broken or missing?

The mounting tabs were broken on mine, and since these face plates are unavailable, I ended up using black epoxy to fix mine.
