I fought the mirror and the mirror won
After washing the Targa today the outside flag mirror decided to let loose.
Took it off and after an hour could not get the hollow bolt to seat. Decided to snip the wires and remove the housing and after another hour of frustration still could not get it to thread ![]() I grabbed the dripp and almost started to make a few holes to screw the parts together but decided to pack up and call it quits for now ![]()

Did the glass come loose from the mirror housing, or did the housing come loose from the car?
My glass came free and I epoxied it back onto its little plate inside the housing.

The mirror housing detached from the base.
Met up with Bruce this morning and he helped me out. Ended up shortening the spring and with the proper hex tool was able to get the parts together ![]() Next is the Vitaloni Sebring Mach 1 Mirror mod. \\Flag mirrors gone - welcome Vitaloni Sebring Mach 1 Mirror
