CIS Pop Off Valve Install Trick
If you are having trouble drilling the 2" hole for the CIS pop off valve and don't have a right angle drill try using an air ratchet and 1/4" socket. I found it best to drill a pilot hole first. Use a regular hand ratchet to turn the hole saw. Cut through the "fins" on the floor of the air box (so you don't get the hole saw caught and tear something up). Once the cutter is down to the base of the fins, use an air ratchet to finish the job. Be careful that the hole saw doesn't bind up when the drill cuts through. You will probably have to sand the valve body and the hole some to get the proper fit. I used the shop vac to get the shavings up. I used a brush dipped in mineral spirits to pick up the shaving dust the vac missed (you can get down into the air box opening). Install the valve in the hole (as per the instructions). Since you can't drive the car till the epoxy dries, I would suggest a toast: " JOB WELL DONE"
