MSD Tach adaptor needed?

I am using 2 X MSD units and 2 X Blaster coils for my twin plug ignition, will the tach read correctly or do i need an adaptor?

Short Answer- Using a OEM tach- Yes.

I sent my speedo to a shop where they made the change internally to work with a MSD box.

I have an OEM Tach and don't need an adaptor. Re read your MSD manual, there is a spade connector on the end of the MSD unit. The tach wire plugs directly into that and reads RPMs from the MSD unit.

It's worth a try, it worked on mine.

I've had early tachs work and not work, late tachs work and not work. My experience is hit-and miss so you might try it first before ordering an adapter.
