How to replace shift shaft seal on 915
On my 915 there is this damn puddle of oil in the shift coupler access area.
 I was told that this is due to a worn shift shaft seal.What is the procedure to change that seal. Does the tranny have to come out of the car for this? Ingo

I have a problem. I have been trying to remove the shift shaft seal for two days now. The seal is not moving. Can anyone provide me with suggestions. The tranny is a 73 915.
