I didn't as well! But I have to say that I am very pleased with the result.

Concerning the brake system, I will have a servo assisted system as the car is supposed to be used in tarmac with rear refurbished standard 3.2 calipers and front four piston Brembo calipers:

Shocks are Bilstein, re-valved for tarmac rally use.
The original suspension configuration will be kept but upgraded with new hard bushes and bigger torsion bars.

At the rear suspension, mono-balls were fitted:

Love to see this build here Alex. Makes my RallyCross (USA) build seem somewhat pathetic. Keep posting, the more details the better.

What do you have planned for wheels? Sen. Sainz is using our BRAID BZ. Give my amigo Evandro a call there. He'll take care of you. He's from Portugal too.

Good luck.

re: duck tail, how fast will your rally be?

also, are you worried about collecting rust-promoting debris in the gaps for the torsion bar weld-ups?

With the gear set I will use, maximum speed will be around 190 km/h. Yes, I believe the duck tail will have some important role. At the same time, I have to admit that one of the reasons was the "classic look"...

Regarding your second comment, (Sorry for my por English), I believe you are talking about the weldings around the threads on the torsion bar tube... (???). All the weldings were done for stiffening purposes, if that is what you talking about...

yes, the welded pieces - dirt & debris can get in those cracks, so you might want to stick some sealer in there

Ok, I understand.

At the same time, I have to say that after each event the cars are washed and dry with blown air to clean every dirt and grease on the chassis.

In my opinion, following this procedure on each event, I prevent a lot o future trouble.

Meanwhile, this project had to slow down a bit, because I had to finish another car that is already sold.

A few little developments:

Gear stick from Wevo is already installed...
