external thermostat flow direction

Looking for confirmation of flow action, I did a search and found two conflicting port designations- I bought this loose and am putting it into a mid engine 3.2 powered V.W. double cab so I have no reference.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks james Brown for the fast response, but I think I should have positioned the thermostat in the stock orientation, I took another photo in the stock position and kept the labels on the same ports, if I could get some more confirmations that would be great.

so in this picture, the upper hose comes from the scavenge oil pump to the upper inlet of the thermostat and the other hose goes back to the oil tank, so C is in from the engine and D is out to the oil tank A is out to the cooler and B is back to the oil tank (a-b can be hooked up ether way)

Thanks again for the info, this is the last system to complete till I can start the truck up.
So confirmed that "C" is from scavenge pump, "D" is return to dry sump tank.

I would like to confirm "A" and "B" flow direction as in my build I have a high and low port location on my front cooler and would like the input on the lower port and out on the upper port to help clear out any air.

I haven't checked for any updates on your thread in the engine conversion forum. You should definitely post a video or some pics here when you fire it up for the first time! I've been looking forward to seeing this project when completed

Hey redstrosekNic, I will post a video when it is running but don't get too exited, at the rate I am able to work on it might be a month or so. Still, that is a short time since I have been working on it for over three years!

Targalid, the cooler is a modified Fluidyne airbox 650, I had my fabricator weld on some aeroquip -16 fittings and plug another fitting port.

So, how about those cooler flow directions? any more inputs?

Here is a shot of what it is going in-
