Power window problem 81 911 sc RS door panel install

When I was changing the driver side door panel I made a mistake hooking up my window switches. When I tried to use the switch I heard a pop. I blew the 25A power window fuse, oops. I replaced the fuse and I want to sort out my window switch but it doesn't have power. What should my next move be? Relay? Thanks.

I did the same thing, so don't feel bad

Search for window switch wiring there is a post out there that has the correct wiring info in a couple of pics

Thats how I fixed mine

Here is the link

Ugh... drivers side window switches.

the wire colors were a little off for my 83 but by process of elimination of the ones that are correct you can figure it out

I still cannot get power to the switches. Would the next step be to replace the relay? Thanks.

I wouldnt think a relay would be hold you up in this case. are you sure you got the connections correct and replace with the correct size fuse?

You probably need new switches now.

I think I have the wires correct but im not 100%. I will try to rearrange them and see if it makes a difference. If they are wrong, it should just blow the fuse again right? Yes, I did replace the blown fuse with the right fuse and I got a couple extra just in case it happened again. Thanks.
