Original Technical Data File

I am going back to Europe and I will obviously bring with me my MY88 Targa.
I do need the original technical data file in order to reimmatricolate the car in Europe: what is it? Where may I get it?
Any advice regarding the transportation?
ANybody has some advice or useful tips?
