I used the diagram from the PET as a guide--or you could pull it up on the Pelican site by searching for the latch assembly.
Hope this helps--check out parts #31-36. Best, Dave ![]()

Cabmando, would it be possible to measure the length of the plunger from its tip to the top (the flange, not the base) of the nut without removal? Thanks.

I am brand new to the forums here. After 600+ miles this weekend in a 1987 Carrera, there was only one hiccup. When I arrived home I realized that the upper decklid latch assembly (I believe it is part 930-512-052-01) was broken. It looks like whatever nut/fastener connected the bolt to the bracket on the decklid fell off and I cannot find it. Does anyone know the proper nut/fastener to use here? Or do I need to replace the entire part? It looks like the entire upper decklid latch assembly is listed as one part in the PET. Thanks in advance! |
