I used the diagram from the PET as a guide--or you could pull it up on the Pelican site by searching for the latch assembly.

Hope this helps--check out parts #31-36.

Best,
Dave

Cabmando, would it be possible to measure the length of the plunger from its tip to the top (the flange, not the base) of the nut without removal? Thanks.

Hi all,

I am brand new to the forums here. After 600+ miles this weekend in a 1987 Carrera, there was only one hiccup. When I arrived home I realized that the upper decklid latch assembly (I believe it is part 930-512-052-01) was broken. It looks like whatever nut/fastener connected the bolt to the bracket on the decklid fell off and I cannot find it.

Does anyone know the proper nut/fastener to use here? Or do I need to replace the entire part? It looks like the entire upper decklid latch assembly is listed as one part in the PET.

Thanks in advance!
