Current flow diagrams question

On Current flow diagrams, there are wires that end at little boxes labeled with Roman numerals as well as arabic numerals.

Example V 5 or II 25 etc.

What they H#ll are those? I'm trying to sort out my electronics for an engine swap and those numerals have me stumped.

The Roman numerals refer to the other page that the wire goes to, and the little arabic number is the current 'track' number at the bottom of the page ... where it appears on the new page. On the second page, the Roman numeral and current track from whence you just came will be labeled at another box!

I call it the Transporter Effect!' The worst spinoff from 'Star Trek!' Of course there are some 'Transporter Effect malfunctions,' too, from time to time ... such as on the following diagram from an '82 SC ... where a wire ends with no box, just a note 'alarm system' ... problem is, there's no diagram in the manual for the alarm system!!! Talk about going off into space!

Thanks, very helpful. Now I can finish my wire harness so I can install the motor.
