Source for Sheet and Bar aluminum?

Anyone know where i a can get some stiff sheet alum, ( 1/4 inch or more) for fabricating coil mounts , oilfilter mounts, etc and also some 2"x2" square stock (hollow) for replacing bumper shocks? Not home depot items. thanks frank

You don't say where you live, but around here (North Florida) we have a few used metal places that sell all kinds of steel and aluminum at rock bottom prices. The one I go to is in Ocala, and they have new and used stuff - I found a 25' aluminum I-beam I use for my engine hoist for a little over $100!

Otherwise, +1 on McMaster Carr, also check MSC and Enco for possibly lower prices.

I've used OnlineMetals and McMaster-Carr for years. Anymore I don't bother looking elsewhere.

My local steel supply has a large "remanent" or leftover section. I was there yesterday and saw tons of sheet metal, tubing, round, square, rectangle, aluminum and steel.

Check your local steel supply.
