Dumb CIS question

Messed up fuel line order on 1973.5 t. If I understand correctly, there is no "firing order" from the fuel distributor so fuel lines do not necessarily correspond to a particular cylinder. I am correct in this assumption?

Yes, you are correct. Route your lines the most efficient and least restrictive way to each cylinder/injector.
