I'll take the car to a nice twisty road after tuning is done. Drives quite nicely and is tame in the traffic. First did a speed-density tune, now switched to Alpha-N and after both are done I will decide which one stays.
Here's some photos of the ITB's, with and without rain shields. Nevermind the heater tube which looks downright terrible. It is from the TPC kit that was on the car earlier. Amazing how bad of a quality this is taking into account the price that they ask or the kit.

How is the response with ITBs compared to the common plenum/Motronic system.

Feels faster overall than stock VRAM 993 (this is non-VRAM engine) and much-much snappier.
Pulls very strong up to 7000rpm (upgraded stock rod bolts to ARP hardware).
Getting it up to where most people consider the driveability very good is easy but I want to make it perfect so it takes some effort. It has to have a good fuel mileage, excellent behaviour in traffic etc.

Cam upgrade (RS hydraulic cams) would be a nice add-on but the owner (friend of mine) wanted to get the car running asap. Perhaps in winter..

Would love to hear the throttle response. If a 3.6 revs quick, nearly every other shorter-stroked, 911 engine will rev even quicker I'd imagine.

So want to do this one day.

BTW, car sounds great!

Keep both hands on the steering wheel and keep looking forward!

Nice video thanks for sharing. The car looks like it gets fast really quick!

Went to the dyno today, on the DynoJet the results were 270 rwhp and 306 rwNm. It equals to ~315hp/365 Nm on the flywheel. For the bone stock motor its quite good I think, especially considering the weather was rather hot (~30 C) and intake temps were reaching 50 C in the intake.
Best thing is that 250 rwNM is available already at 2000 rpm and the torque curve is quite flat.

I installed 200cpi race catalytic converters with X-pipe and stock mufflers.

Went for a drive today evening to a countryside and do some logging and fine tuning of the fuel map (with autotune):

Whoa Jaskas, wicked project! Are those 17" Fuchs wheels and 4pot calipers?

You should come to Open Track track event on 30.06 on our new track in Pärnu, this track loves Porsches

996 brakes in all corners. 17" rota fox wheels(fuchs replica).

I dont think that able to make it for this trackday. There was some porsche track day in the fall. I have consider that one.
