Plug wires for an 87 Carrera? Why different from earlier Carreras and turbos??

I was looking at some used spark plug wires for my 1987 Carrera 3.2, and noticed in the PP catalog that there is one set that is for 911 (1973-1/2 with CIS, 1974-83), 911 Turbo (1976-89) -- Stainless Steel Braided
see Pelican Parts - Product Information: 10-8533-613-M47

...BUT there is a different part number for 911 Carrera (1985-89).
see Pelican Parts - Product Information: 10-8533-606-M47

Why is this? I like the idea of the stainless steel braided wires (the idea of the braid being protective). Also, I like the idea that the turbo Beru wires are over $50 cheaper than the Carrera Berus.

Is it the EFI vs CIS?
Does it have something to do with different ignitions, heat, resistance requirements, radio static???

Can I use turbo wires on the 3.2 EFI?

Anybody know the answer to this question?
The wires for sale are mine.

It is my understanding that plug wires for CIS cars were wrapped with SS, grounded to the engine, as one of the measures to prevent blown airboxes.

I run LS-2 coils and Carrera plug wires on my 911SC with Megasquirt with absolutely no difficulty.

1984 plug wires are routed differently than 1985-89 ones. The right side wires on the '84 run more directly (they are shorter). They don't have braiding like the 911SC wires.

Chris, thanks. But sounds like these slightly shorter wires are just on the 84, right?
Are the SC braided types longer, as well as the 85-89's?
