Made a fuse box label for my 88

One of those things about owning a 25 year old car is that random things are missing.

If you aren't the original owner (i am not) it makes you wonder, "when and how did that disappear?" Of course that is why we have Pelican, swap meets, eBay, etc. :-)

I have no need to make my car concours-perfect, but I like to find the missing bits and I decided to make a fuse box label using a card stock and the wide copier at my local Fedex Kinko's. It came out pretty good, so I made a few extra copies. If others are missing this item, and have also found that they are NLA on Pelican, let me know and I will make them available for a small fee to cover my costs.

The source was a few pdf scans that I received a while ago from another Pelican.

The part number is 911.612.243.03

Fuse box label custom

Being NLA I designed my own with the info I like to have, and color coded. I didn't like the Pe style that I cryptic, confusing, cluttered.
This is my version in my 87. Laminated too.

I agree - very nice George -

Several people have already expressed interest in my "original" version - I need to check on the shipping cost.

I am interested if the 86 would be the same as your 88 as well.

I'd have an interest in getting your product for a 89 S.A. Edition. I think it's very cool. Available?

PM.

Fusebox label

Thanks, it was not trivial for me to make it. I think I used 3 programs to make it, Autocad, Excel, and Photoshop.
I can check with the manual for changes between the various years. It should not be too hard to shift some labels around.
Not sure about a price...... Fair, price I think is 25, w/out shipping, which could be a large envelope with a cardboard stiffener.

I needed one as well, so I also simplified it.
I have this card and a standard '88 card in Visio and PDF formats. Email me for a copy of the files.

Bill, you took it a step further with even having the pin #s for the relays....pretty NICE. Same idea though. Color coding, orientation etc....Why couldn't have the factory done a proper job

Per the manual, 84-86 have a different relay panel arrangement and functions from the 87-89.
The fuse label arrangement is different between the years 84, 85, 86-87 same, 88-89 same.

I am afraid my label is good for the 86 87. I was able to mod the relay descriptions OK but the rest of it is not user friendly, just as if factory would have done it. hehe
Actually I like Bills version better.
Maybe a 2nd gen label.

Bill - please email me the PDF version of yours to

megerian@yahoo.com

Also , question for everyone - are all of these laminated? I have original versions printed on heavy (80 lb) card stock.
