convertible top control fuse

There are 2 fuses for the convertible top. Position 3 in the fuse box, a 25A fuse. There should be also a 2.5A fuse for the convertible control unit somewhere in the luggage compartment. But where???? Thanks in front!

It's not in the plastic fuse and relay carrier , it's an inline fuse which should be a red wire You know the glass type twist fuse holders . Rummage around the wires by the box you'll see it.

Thanks AVDCAV, I know, I found the other 16 Amps for the radio. But cannot find the 2.5Amps for the convertible top control.

Has anyone found this? I would like a tip on where the 2.5 amp fuse for the convertible top is located.

I have an 89 Cab and found both the top and radio fuse, in-line, below the fuse panel and under the fuel filler next. There was a plastic zip tie holding the wires and I needed to carefully cut it to really get to them. They seem to be very hard to access.

Okay, any tips on how to isolate it? How do I know I have the right thing?

Where does it attach to the main fuse box?
