Californication cabriolet...how crappy is it?

Looks like it was put away wet after a hard ride. What year do ya think it is?

I think it's a mix.....gotta love the missing headlight. I've only seen him pulled over once for it...still not fixed.

Like all the "ladies" he keeps bedding, its all a fantasy

We did some service on the car last year and it does look pretty beat. Its not "stunt" dirt either- they don't wash it. Paint was dulled down on purpose

It runs okay- i don't remember the production company name, so can't look up what year it is
sorry

I don't think it is a '93. They changed mirrors in '93 to the more round 993 type. The wheels appear to be from a later model 964...'94 I believe.

NSFW (but more angles of the car, incl. interior):

And, according to IMCDB (Internet Movie Car Database), the car is a 1990 964:

I almost bought a car from that same dealer 12 years ago. Porsche dealer in Beverley Hills Wilshire and LaCienega. It was across the street from my office at the time.

I never saw her there....I am sorry that she was not the sales person.......

Was looking at a great car 1997 993 coupe fly yellow with yellow wheels. Took a test drive and was hooked. Salesman took 15 minutes of asking around the office to come up with the price......was $6k over the LA Times classified ad for this car and this dealer I had in my pocket! pissed me off.

I said excuse me, and looked at the VIN and compared it to the ad. I said ad price -$5000 and we have a deal.

2 weeks later he called me back and agreed to my price......I had moved on by then.

I would have paid the inflated price if she had been the sales person!!!!

We have a Dodge/Mercedes heavy truck dealership here...I was there looking at a Sprinter. Out of the 10 or so salespeople, there were about 4 women. Every one of 'em was smokin' hot. You could see the plumbers/electricians/tradesmen lining up to buy trucks from them.

The Porsche is the best part..at least this season.

The show started out OK, but has gone downhill IMHO

BTW, I've been waiting for someone to start a thread about this car!

Been getting the series via netflix, Hank just got arrested outside the Venice crapflat after telling his GF that he boned a 16 year old and beat up her manager/BF.

I knew the car was a mix, I missed the 93 change on the mirrors.

Techweenie, it's a Showtime series. David Duchovny (X files) is a rough looking Charlie Sheen who is a fiction writer.

The series has boobs and they say the F-word. He has a daughter....pretty much the same plot and 2.5 men.

Thanks, bud. Never watched 2-1/2 men, either. Just found Entourage a couple months ago and powered through 6 seasons in a couple weeks. Californication was recommended to me as one who has demonstrated a fondness for boobs...

1991 964 one loses headlight:
Californication episode 1 part 2 - YouTube
daughter crashes it so he buys replacement 1990 cab:

Agent says he needs to wash his car, so he buys a 996 from a dealer:
Californication - Hank buys a Porsche - YouTube

then he drives his agent's 997
Porsche America realizes in season 6 that it does not help to boost the values of 964s so they pay for the product placement and he is seen driving his agent's 2013 to help boost sales in the US
