Does anyone know how Rarly L8 mid-length Headers compare with European Racing parts from GT Racing.

I need some headers for a 3.0SC fitted with carbs and S cams and am looking for performance between 3-7000 rpm.

It depends on the exact application Chris. Our medium length headers are designed for modified engines with extrended red lines. Your engine falls into that profile. It is important that the port size of the engine match the primary tubing size of the headers. We offer both 1.5" and 1.625" primaries. Merge collectors coodinate unrestricted flow. If your exhaust ports are stock size then the 1.5" primaries will preserve torque while allowing the top end to flow.

Are the GT Racing headers exact duplicates of the original George's headers?

GT Racing took over George's operation recently. George Narbel passed away not too long ago.

Thanks Kevin, I had heard he had passed away. Have used his headers on a 3.2 matched with a Wong chip and couldn't believe the power increase.

Original question is the million dollar question?

I'm assuming you'd see similar results on 3.2 with Rarlyl8 headers. Problem is, have never heard from any source, actual data. Be it butt dyno or actual dyno using otherwise stock 3.2 with rarlyl8 headers and proper wong chip. This is certainly the set up I'm interested in.

Rarly...if you installed 1.625's with anti-reversion cones in them...would it be an advantage overall...or would the primaries end up a little too big to maintain low end torque?
