				front AC condenser motor question

Does anyone know the run current and air flow for original front AC condenser motor. Are there better motors to compare to, such as foot-well blower motor, that will fit?

Will Hurricane motor meant for evaporator fit? What are their run current and airflow values? I want to improve airflow to serpentine condenser in front of my 82 911SC. Thank you, Algernon |

Footwell blower motor will bolt right but you will have to change one of the connectors from male to female spade or female to male. Can't remember but it's obvious enough when you have it apart. Footwell motor is significantly faster and louder. More that a few here have done this mod. I doubt the Hurricane motor will work in that location but I've never had one in my hand. There is one old thread on here where another user cut into the blower housing and used a completely non-Porsche motor. If you are looking to add airflow I think you best option is to try the footwell blower motor. It's basically a straight drop in and does provide more airflow without have to hack anything up. Easily reversible if you don't like it. Used footwell blowers can be found for cheap if you are patient. -J

Yes, if it works it's a Fluke.
