Dear All,
I'm glad to say that I'm owner of a 911 SC-L 3.1L. Yes it is rare and it's even very difficult to find the correct parts for it. For example: I'm looking for a clutch kit. Some say it's a 2.7L type clutch kit you need to look for. Who knows something about the SC-L 3.1L specifics. Thanks Filip (Belgium) |

I have a 3.1 engine in my car, its not original to the car, nor does it have the original CIS, im sure that was lost years ago. In the process of doing the Bitz EFI, with carrera intake.

Any way you could translate this letter to English??
My car has an 80 model 3.1 in it, although it's not all original(3.2 heads, and 3.2 intake) I cannot help but think maybe the block and pistons/cylinders could become collectible one day. |
