I have used my caliper to measure the sway bar sizing on an all original 1974 Carrera. I am just trying to make sure on sizing before I order sway bar bushings.
22mm = front 18 or 19mm = rear is correct on '74 Carrera US version Someone checked PET and it is showing 20mm front / 18mm rear 22mm front are for 86-89 911 thanks in advance |

Just go with your measurements. There were options then, or someone may have changed it.

74 911 Carrera bar option
My dad ordered his 74 coupe with the Carrera bar option.
The front bar measures 20mm and the rear bar is 18mm. Very flat cornering, especially with a 2400 pound car. As has been pointed out, someone may have installed a later year model Carrera bar, but 20-18 is correct for the 74. hth, chris |
