Late 80's 22mm front sway bar question

Does anyone know if the 22mm late 80's "under the car" front sway bar and its 4 correct bushings fit correctly and directly into the pre-existing welded mounts on the control arm and the center mounts to an 1981 911 SC?

Thanks for any info

I'm pretty sure they do. I just picked one up for my '76 and with the 22mm bushings it should fit.

Works great! Installed one on my '80SC, no problem.

Absolutely. Perfect fit.

BUT- I wouldn't do it without the corresponding larger rear sway bar too.

81 SC uses 20/18 front/rear sway bars
The Carrera bars are 22/21

If you change just the front bar you'll end up with a 22/18 combo.

I agree, I did install the 21mm rear as well.

I've got the stock front and rear bars from my 1986 930 I'd let go cheap. I know the 86 and up bars are larger the other years but am not home to say exactly what they are. Look it up and PM away if interested.
