Can anyone i.d. this sway bar

Anyone recognize this sway bar. I thought it might be a Weltmeister, but the photos I've seen done bear it out. That's an anodized aluminum block at the end. I'm missing a drop-link. Thank you in advance!

Weltmeister used a tube and clamp. But the tube didn't look like that, nor did the clamp. I suspect it's a one-off.

Thanks for the reply. The drop link(s) looks very similar to the Welt, but this anodized aluminum end piece seems a bit over the top for them.

the color of the drop link in place looks like it may be from a smart racing sway kit. not sure on the product linked above by toblu, but the smart bars have all metric hardware. takes a 16mm on the DL body if I recall. the a-arm attachment is not like any ive seen. for severe applications I would not be keen on drilling the a-arm to fasten the DL. smart has a clever clasp, and ive seen others welded to the arm. you could surely come up with something more elegant, and sturdy than what you see there.

The bolting looks fine to me. I'd be happy running that even under severe duty. If the joint is tight and the bolts sized properly it will only make the arm more rigid and stronger.

I think so as well. I just placed the drop link there for the photo's sake to try and help someone identify the unit for me. It's not bolted-up in any way. The Weltmeister pieces look similar, but I don't know about the length. Anyone have a Weltmeister bar, and would you mind measuring the length of your link... Thanks again!

Some observations:

The drop link attachment appears to be custom-fabricated. It doesn't look like an off-the-shelf piece.

The U-tab bolted to the A-arm looks sheet-metal thin (also fabricated?). With the loads at this location, I'd source thicker wall U-tabs to replace them, then weld in place.

With all due respects to WM, their as-supplied rod ends aren't the highest quality. Depends on how serious your efforts to reduce lap times with quality hardware. The drop links themselves can be sourced individually, available in different lengths.

I think that's it! too bad they're NLA. I have one of the drop links. Perhaps I can match it with another brand.

Sherwood, thank you for the reply. My picture is lousy. I staged it with the drop link from the other side because my lighting was better on the passenger side. Nothing is bolted-up. The control arm tabs aren't the best, but they're part of the kit. They each have four corner folds to help secure the original nuts.
