I just have a wood dowel cut to length - you guys scared me away from doing the shock install.
 Jeb 79 930 PS mine works most of the time - just not when its below about 40 degrees. |

It is good to know I am not alone. I thought I was just an imbecile as I could not figure out a way to get that clip on.
Even went back in a few days later because I assumed I missed something. Cannot wait to deal with the clutch one.

Just remove the hood, install the new shock, the re-install the hood!
