Alignment change/wheel size question

I recently changed the 6's and 7's out for 7's and 8's on the 79 SC. The car seems to wander now instead of tracking dead straight as before. Has the wheel size diff changed the alignment specs? The tires on the new set of wheels are pretty well worn. I haven't swapped those out yet. Could the worn tires cause the prob?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes tires could do this. If you were planning on getting new tires anyway I would do it now. I don't know if just the different sizes could do this, but I don't think so. The front tires on my car were terrible when I bought it. The car wandered all over the place. Replaced tires and she's been solid as a rock since. I'm interested in finding out b/c I am getting ready to buy 7&8's also. Would love to see pictures of how they look. Any rubbing? Tire sizes? Fenders rolled?

I suspect tires are the problem as well, but still curious if the different size and change in offset bias has affected the drive.

No rubbing, no rolled fenders, still at stock ride height. 205-55 and 225-50-16s. Have you found a set yet? It really gives the car a meaty look.

I found a set locally and just need to set up a time to look at them and buy them. He says there beautiful, I hope so.

Your car looks great! I love the look of the wider wheels. My car is still stock height but I'm planning on lowering it. I also plan on putting in a little neg. camber so hopefully I won't have a problem. If I do, I'll just raise it enough so I don't. Thanks for the pics, I love your car!
