Question about Programming inmobilizer and remote key 996

Hello, I thinking to buy an used key and go to dealer to programming the code, I've got the codes of my lost key.

Do you know if I can reprogramming inmobilizer and remote unit (inside the key) for second time, or its needed to be blank both?

A used key is worthless as far as programming the remote functionality unless it has the number from the original bar code that was associated with it when new. However, without this tag/number it can still be programmed to run the car if you have the correct programming codes from the dealer. The immobilizer code can only be programmed once, but the key codes stored in the immobilizer can be reprogrammed as long as you have the proper codes.

You will find better support for your 996 based questions in the water cooled section of the forums.
