Heck, so was I !! I was pretty pumped on the idea of DIY (Destroy It Yourself) welding. I'm sure the resulting "How NOT To Weld a 915 Tranny" thread would have included pictures of melted aluminum, charred clothing and FIRE....lots and lots of FIRE... "BTW, how's your oil tank drain plug?" Hold on a sec. Let me see if I can torque it on enough to twist off the bolt head...hmmm...let's see...Lefty righty loosy tighty eeny meany miney moe...
