What Front Cooler set up is everyone running instead of the "Trombone"?

Title says it all. It appears as a lot of people are running the factory porsche with the fan set up.... but are there any other alternatives?

Thanks!
Paul

Put the Mocal cooler in my car last year, ran cool all summer.

the 28 row cooler and the carrera cooler are popular because they fit but you can fabricate any type cooler you want and it would be 1000% better than that trombone "cooler"

i found this... I'd love to do this one:

Pelican Technical Article: Installing a Mocal 44-Row Oil Cooler in the 911...

However; it seems as the cheapest kit is ~$540.00 and *********** is the only one that sells these Mocal kits. Our host only sells the small units from Mocal.

Any advice on where else I could look?

Thanks,
Paul

Front Cooler

I replaced the trombone in my SC with a Setrab that is a bit larger than the Carrera cooler. I had to build a custom frame to mount it but it seems to work well even in the heat down here in S. Georgia.
