Stuck here, can't figure the part (window regulator issue)
 

Hi Pelicans.

I finally wrestled the regulator out of the door on my '83SC Targa. I wanted it out b/c I found this when I was poking around at the bottom of the door, and I found the pin that connects to the end of the regulator spring, which I refer to as the "shorn-off pin":

I thought I ordered the correct pin to replace it, but it seems like not:

The pin below the spring seems like a replacement for the pin at the center of the spring. I can't see it fitting in the slot to the left of the shorn-off pin, which I think is what I am going for here.

Now, there are many threads to help with regulators, and believe me I consulted them, but still managed to order the wrong part. You ordered PEL 910393 which as you say is for the centre of the spring. You wanted 910394 which is for the other end.

Thanks very much. Is there a perpendicular/parallel difference? 24mm v. 26mm? 910394 is perpendicular, 26mm...
