Turn signals don't signal
Trying to help out a buddy with an 86 targa. His emergency flashers work fine. When the car is off and you flip the turn signal, that side lights up as designed for curb Parking, so it seems the column switch is ok. But they won't flash once the key is on. Is there another turn signal relay seperately from the emergency flasher switch that could be kaput?
Thanks! |

If I remember correct there is a fuse for each blinker but if even one them is gone none of the blinkers won't work. Emergency blinkers work despite of burned fuse.

I don't know about the '86 model. But according to my '78 to '83 Bentley SC manual there is a "Turn Signal/Flasher Relay" located behind the instruments:
![]() Then there is a reference to a "Turn Signal Flasher" in a Component Location Table. The location of which scould be "In luggage compartment left rear, in front of power window relay" Both references are probably for the same turn signal flasher relay.
