we found a leaking shaft as well ...

got myself a nice shiftknob from kultluft.at



and this just came through customs from our host as early x-mas present

hi flojo..how did you do about the oil leak on the trany..where did it come from?

primary leak was from the misfit shaft seal. solved.
the later leak was from the o-ring of the top thermostat that ripped. solved.
3 engine drops within a month. what a PITA.

now I have to change my only 2 years old windshield that got hit by a stone on the highway and cracked :-((

Hello Flojo, nice thread and cool to see how much of the work you are prepared to take on yourself. Your SC looks amazing, must be pleasing knowing how far you have come with her?
Hoping to be in Köln in 2019 for a big Ford Capri Anniversary and hopefully my dad will be coming with me in the 911 SC - should be fun and I am looking forward to my first trip to Germany. At the moment I am obsessed with polish and wax, people will see me coming for miles if it is sunny.
