Question Alternator compatability

I just bought a Bosh AL9341X Alternator 70amp and had a question about the external voltage regulator being a S.E.V. MARCHAL 14Volt. Will this voltage regulator be compatible with my new Bosh Alternator 70amp. I am replacing a bad "Precision Alternator Model MOA 032, 70amp." I am relative new to this forum so any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

If it a direct replacement the brand of VR shouldn't matter as long as it is working correctly.

Thanks Timmy2, I will try it and check it out once it is in place. I will keep my finger crossed!
